SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL PLAYERS
BOYS &
GIRLS - 6 TO 18 YEARS OLD
The Dads’ Athletic Club of Westland,in cooperation with the
Westland Parks and Recreation, will be accepting softball registrations as noted
below. There is no experience necessary, no tryouts and everyone plays. This is
a fun league; however, the program’s capacity is limited. You
need not be a Westland resident to participate. New players, please bring your
birth certificate to registration.
Registration opportunities:
- Every Saturday in March and the first three Saturdays in April between 11 am
and 1 pm at SS. Simon & Jude Church, 32500 Palmer Road (just east of Venoy)
- Wednesday, March 2, and Wednesday, April 6, between 7 pm and 7:30 pm at SS.

the hall door on the far west (Venoy) side of the building
- Tuesday, March 22, and Thursday, March 24, between 5 pm and 8 pm at the
Bailey Center (on Ford Road behind the Westland City Hall)
Cost - $30 per child or $60 Family plan:pay for two players
and all additional siblings play for free. Low cost and a lot of fun! All
players receive a team shirt and a trophy. There is an All-Star game, and a
family picnic at the end of the regular season. There is a $5 per child late
registration fee after April 16, 2011.
There are NO hidden costs or
candy sales! Everyone is a volunteer.

All games are played at Adams Upper Elem. School (Palmer Road west of
Venoy).
Practices start in late April, games in late May and the season runs
through July.
